We are moving from our HDB at the mature area Tanglin Halt, that built in 1972 to new HDB building under SERS Program, in Dawson Area. This is the first time we are using Interior design with Fyner designer; we are quite satisfied with the results of the work.
With our busy schedule as employees, and very limited free time, Fynn organizes meetings well and efficiently with us, every meeting produces solutions, and accommodates our needs in home renovations. During planning we discuss every part of the house in detail, the explanations and inputs given by Fynn can be easily understood by us, when there are differences in views can be finished with a good choice.
During a pandemic is indeed very troubling, the process with lawyers and HDB is not easy, with many units affected by the en-bloc program. We concern about delay raw material, labour, and the problem of time. We plan that the time we are moving at the same time with our children school holiday. On the day we received the keys, that day Fynn helped us coordinate with the Aircon man, determining the position of the AC, plumbing before other work started.
We were very happy with our flooring choice marble texture grey colour, an option that not many people might choose, but Fynn didn't get in the way, ensuring that our choice was compatible with wardrobes and feature wall tv consoles. In addition, we are also pleased with the suggestion of a wardrobe that makes maximum use of the L-shaped wall. We didn't expect Flynn ask how high the bed frame was to match the view to the TV on the feature wall, and indeed our bed was not standard because there was a storage bed frame, higher than the normal bed frame height .
We discussed the details together, Fynn always communicated the progress of the work so that we could move into the new house on schedule. We can convey that Fyner Designer is a professional, willing to undertake requests for simple forms of renovation, also which we greatly appreciate conveying important matters that we must report to HDB for our safety.

We came across Fyner Interior when they were featured in Qanvast FB page. Checked them out and the raving reviews by their clients gave us assurance that this ID could deliver.
For context, we were working on an extremely compressed timeline of 4 weeks from key collection to completion of renovation works before the shift in date. Our ID, Jason Zhou, was prompt in attending to us and was always contactable and dependable.
He got down to work on the renderings, selection of laminates etc on the same day we inked the contract, and not forgetting the various late night video calls with his team to confirm on the renderings for the carpentry. Jason was so dependable and resourceful that we left the decision to him to help us troubleshoot hiccups (that surfaced after hacking works and unrelated to the agreed scope of work) including selection of matching laminates, skirting and plastering works when we were too exhausted with the preparations involved in the house shifting.
We are glad that Fyner completed all the works and carpentry within the agreed timeline. Workmanship was good (there were practically nothing much to rectify) and the quote was competitive and reasonable. Highly recommend Fyner Interior as a reliable and responsible ID who doesn’t MIA after the contract is signed, and who truly deliver on their promise. Like many, Choosing an ID is always a daunting task especially with so many negative articles out there about bad ID’s etc. Lucky for me, My sister had just completed renovations to her house and recommended me to her ID, Jason Zhou from Fyner.
That was how Fyner Interior became my chosen ID. So I had just purchased a 2nd hand 3 room flat and I met up with Jason immediately. He was friendly,easy to work with and very creative with his ideas. I had a lot of demands ,some very demanding i must admit, but Jason was very patient and saw it through with me. With my theme for my house coupled with Jason’s creative ideas; It was manifested out on gorgeous 3D images. Work on my house started soon after and i was updated regularly by Jason on the progress of the renovation.
Jason also companied me to source for my fixtures and fittings and gave me advice on the good and bads, making sure I don't buy the wrong thing. When it was finally completed (albeit a little longer then expected due to workers crunch as covid was still “active”) I was completely blown off by it.Jason had turned my ordinary looking flat into my dream house. It was exactly what i had envisioned.
I must admit also that my resale flat was in poor condition and to see it transformed into what it is now is really a remarkable thing. The workmanship was top notch and only the best materials was used. When i posted my renovation journey and pictures on tiktok (the travelling baker_sg), the views and likes just blew up like crazy.

Fynn is a SUPERB ID that everyone needs.
We met her during pandemic after sending emails to over 35 IDs . Our theme is very specific as we want the house be like Disneyland Hotel, without looking kiddish and still look posh.
From the first meeting, Fynn was really paying attention to what we want & need and really translating those into her plans. She’s extremely meticulous person and will check everything with you before it’s implemented. Such as : direction for door opening, thickness of the trim, white shade (you read it right, there are so many white shades), marbles-look alike types, and so much more.
Fynn is unlike other IDs we met who usually say no without giving concrete solutions. Before saying yes, it’s a common view for us to see her taking her rules and proportionate that into actual measurement, then can say yes or no. If it’s a no, she’ll find alternative solution to meet our purpose without jeopardising the theme.
Prior to any application and implemention, Fynn will check again with us for the colour as what’s on the booklet might be different with actual thing, especially if you apply that on the wood. Nothing is missing under her care, she will make sure all in sync with her plan.
When it comes to furniture & house appliances, Fynn literally choose all colours with us. She always checks with the colour theme to make sure it won’t ruin the design at all.
When pandemic came, the work has been dragged longer than usual since Malaysia started MCO, but Fynn was really responsive to our concern and made sure all essential areas are covered when we moved in.
What’s even more special from Fynn? The after sales service. This is what we’re grateful the most! When we said something, she will quickly respond and rectify it, no ifs no buts.
We are super satisfied with her work and if we can give 1000000 stars for Fynn, we will!!

We are proud owners for new BTO at Dawson after waiting for so many years; got our previous HDB from resale & only did minimum touched up by contractors during that time. First time doing major renovation for our new house, though delighted, we are a bit lost as to what to request & expect. Hence, we started our quest to seek for a good ID to help us out.
From online & friend’s recommendation, managed to meet up a few IDs along the way. Sadly, it didn’t work out, either the proposed design doesn’t suit us, or quoted price is too high. My wife happened to notice Fyner Interior one day, their designs in FB did match the concept we want. Decided to give Fyner Interior a shot & called them up to schedule for a meetup.
Senior ID Fynn Neoh attended to us during the appointment & given us a lot of good design idea & fast concrete examples that fit our taste. Besides listening to our requirements, Fynn also provided constructive feedback and professional opinion.
As new owners, sometimes we were not sure on what we want, with changes here & there, Fynn always able to give her guidance and flexibility to accommodate us. She also pointed out the pros & cons on the designs we want. We like the Two-way communication, with the chemistry building up, we decided to engage Fynn as our ID & embarked on our journey with Fyner Interior.
Leading up to the renovation, Fynn did great job in coordinating with internal contractors, keeping us updated all the time on the reno progress. We are very satisfied with the coordination work and Fynn’s ability to execute across multiple timelines and dependencies. Fynn always shows dedication, care & responsiveness through entire renovation process. Well, with Fynn around, we have no worries at all, as she’s always on top of things.
The renovation itself went well with minor hiccups which could be avoided if certain precaution is done before hand. The parquet flooring has scratches & some dents towards the end of the renovation & was acknowledged by Fynn. Was resolved with sanding and varnishing services arranged by Fynn with no delay.
Despite the above, I would say we were able to come to a satisfactory resolution at the end of the day.
With no doubt, we highly recommend Fynn & Fyner Interior to all if you are looking for a responsible & creative designer to build your “Home Sweet Home”. Hope we get the chance to work again in future!

We required extensive reworking for a HDB apartment which we purchased, and engaged Thomas Teo from Fyner Interior Pte Ltd after exploring online and meeting various designers. We felt very at ease when we met him, and were impressed by his detailed devotion in ensuring that the quote was clear and comprehensible.
Thomas worked diligently with us to plan a layout (which was very well thought off) according to our habits & preference. He also guided & accompanied us to select other variants such as floor/wall tiles, furniture, and lighting. Thomas displayed exceptional knowledge and skills as a designer/renovation specialist. He effectively and efficiently managed the entire renovation process, giving us little to worry about. He exhibited a clear knowledge & interpretation of different design themes, which helped us greatly in grasping the pros and cons towards different designs. 打从7月中旬，拿了钥匙后，我们把新屋的装修交给Jason处理。他从与我们几次的沟通中了解了我们的要求后，出了设计图到安排员工如期施工，到后期的补做工作，都尽量配合我们，终于在11月底完工。（备注：面临冠病疫情尚不明朗、人力和物力短缺的时期能有如此的进展，可谓是不幸中的大幸了。）
现在，新屋装修已完成，室内设计是带有简约的北欧现代风格。我们十分感谢Jason的专业咨询、实践能力和高度责任感。经过装修后的新屋是今年我们在圣诞节收到的一份最佳礼物。

I went to 3 different ID companies and after sharing with them the 2D design of what I have in mind, I decided to engage Fyner Interior - Jason Zhou as my ID. Price quoted is reasonably good. Another factor is how the ID envision how things would work out or not based on 2D to 3D.
I still remember me spending countless of hours at his office on multiple days, mapping out my ideas with JZ drawing out my ideas on 2D Autocad, changing here & there before finalising my final 2D plan.
Like what the previous reviews says, Jason responds fast to client’s queries. Shopping for tiles at Hafary, bathroom accessories at Lookz, lightings at Zenterra, was an enjoyable experience with JZ. Every measurement, every detail got to be precise and Jason with his more than a decade of experience as an ID really exudes the confidence and affirmation to carry forth the job to be done well while working closely hand in hand with all his sub contractors. He is humble, easy-going and a problem solver. Can really see his passion and love for the job as an ID.

My wife & I bought a new 5-bedroom HDB in 2019 and we did an extensive research on the interior design industry – online, recommendations from friends, reading reviews and checking out the various interior magazines. We didn’t have an exact idea on what we wanted, more of a combination of different elements which we fancied.
We were recommended to Fynn of Fyner by a close friend of ours – who had his home done up by Fynn 2 years ago. Fynn arranged to meet us and we spent a long time sharing ideas, discussing, and getting out enquiries answered. Fynn was patient and knowledgeable – presenting to us solutions, suggestions and clear guidelines for our understanding. .
Our subsequent meetings with Fynn was a big eye opener! As first time home owners, we were pretty much clueless on what we had to do, and how to do it. Fynn took us through a step by step guide – from the layout, illustrations, colour tones, flooring options etc. Fynn took the effort to understand our habits and lifestyle/preferences in order to provide a comprehensive design solution that matches us. Her quotation was detailed and transparent – giving us the assurance that we will be avoiding a hidden cost segment after signing.
Throughout the entire renovation process, Fynn was responsible and helpful, providing updates and sound advice when we asked for her opinion on furniture & lighting solutions. She is patient and really does go above her duties and responsibilities to help us out.
I would say both my wife and I are very delighted with how our new house looks. Our family and friends have remarked that our home exudes a very comfortable feel. We will like to thank Fynn for her professionalism and commitment to us and our home.

Fynn and Jason had helped us with everything especially when we were so busy with personal work. You can rest assured and trust in their Interior Design expertise.
Understand that House Renovation is not as simple as it is, especially when things were not planned accordingly, I do understand that many people always prefer to go with an independent Contractor (Since it MAY be cheaper in costs, yet time-consuming and many other factors involved). But, we can't afford to take any risks since it's our first time doing house renovation. Hence, we went ahead with Fyner Interior since I have seen many positive feedbacks and their packages are transparent with no hidden costs.
During the planning phase, we looked at the 3Dimensions design of how it will look like. Happy to say that it looked so amazing as they had delivered what they had shown in the 3D design. We were introduced to Fynn by a solid recommendation from a colleague. After talking to several IDs (< 5) over a span of three months, we chose to engage Fynn as our designer for our new condo unit. Our first impression of Fynn? She is honest, meticulous and patient. She brought us through every step of the renovation process. She is very hardworking, and provided creative and practical solutions to our requirements.
During the first consultation, Fynn took the initiative to really comprehend what we wanted and what was essential in our new home. Not one to assume, she was sure to go in-depth to really understand what we required. She also gave us various valuable & beneficial advice, such as whether we planned for children, or expected any relatives to be staying with us in the future.
As we were quite busy during the renovation period, we left it to Fynn and did not really go down on site. Fynn gave us the required attention which we appreciated, keeping us updated during the renovation. Her response was well satisfactory, being concise and straight to the point which gave us the assurance that everything was in order. Even when minor problems arised, Fynn was sure to share the issue and solution with us. In a way, our renovation journey felt like a partnership with Fynn, one of trust and respect. She takes pride in her work, and was clearly devoted in this project.

I knew Jason for more than one decade.
Exactly 10 years ago, he was employed by a well-known big ID company. I visited a Home Interiors Exhibition at Singapore Expo and chose the ID company first, before he was assigned to handle my home renovation project. Back then, we were happy that the project was generally well delivered. He responded swiftly when an urgent rectification needed to be done on our bedroom top shelf cabinet, even outside the warranty period.
Fast forward to 2019, after I got a new place to stay in, I decided to ask Jason to quote a price for my home renovation. Despite my renovation job being a very small one, he was very professional in his work. He was very willing to listen to my renovation needs and gave good advice. His attitude is so different from another renovation contractor I had hired in the past.
I also told him I was most impressed by all his sub-contractors (carpenters, painters, lighting specialists) for their good quality job, patience and good manners. As the co-owner of Fyner, I believe he is able to decide which sub-contractors to hire and he had picked very good ones indeed. This is different from working as an employee Interior Designer in a big ID company because all the sub-contractors are hired by the big company and are 'shared' by all the Interior Designers of the company.
I will highly recommend Fyner to anyone. You certainly want to work with a project manager who is attentive to your renovation needs, can give good advice so that you spend on quality materials and one whose sub-contractors are polite and skillful. Jason's quotations are reasonably priced too. Good value for our hard-earned money spent.
